72 Hour Kits

These 72 hour kits were spotlighted at Super Saturday this year.

72 Hour Food Kit
(Kit requires 2 liters of water, a plastic spoon, and a plastic grocery bag folded.) Items are packed in a Rubbermaid one gallon clear container with lid – Wal Mart product No. 007169122967. The contents of this kit were analyzed by an expert for proper nutrients.

2 pkgs. of Beef Jerky (1 oz.)
2 Hot Cocoa Mixes (.2 oz.)
3 Fruit Roll-ups or Fruit Snacks (.5 oz.)
1 pkg. Planters Peanuts (1 oz.)
1 Can of Canned Soup (Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup)
1 Can of Apple Juice (6 oz.)
1 pkg. Ramen Noodles (3 oz.)
1 pkg. Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup Mix
3 pkgs. Austin Cheese Crackers with Peanut Butter (1.38 oz.)
1 Snack Pudding
2 Packages of Gum – 5 Sticks
15 Pieces of wrapped hard candy
1 Capri Sun Pouch

The only reason brand names are mentioned is for your convenience in shopping for them. You can use any brand you like, but stick to the sizes listed so they will still fit in your jar. You can use any juice you’d like pineapple, apple, orange, etc. Suggested Rotation – 2 Years Water Needed – 2 Liters
