Priest/Laurel Prom

Sister Skinner, who is in a different ward, contacted me about the Priest/Laurel Prom. She’s in need of WHITE Christmas lights for decorations. Here’s part of her email:

We are in need of multiple Small Clear or white (white cord) lights for the Priest Laurel Prom. It is on May 8th. We would need them by May 6th.
If you have lights to loan her, please give contact me and I will give you her contact info. Thanks and Love,

Leslie

Also, a week from tomorrow, will be New Beginnings for YW and we want to make sure EVERYONE comes to support the young women and meet the girls who are new in YW!

Wanted/Needed...to borrow!

The Young Women (and I am sure I can add in Young Men) are in need of warm snow clothing. Jackets, Snow Pants, Snow Suits, Boots. The Youth will be heading up on their annual Snow Trip December 26th and 27th (overnighter) and the YW President asked that I pass this around.
If you are able to lend your warm clothing to the youth it would be very appreciated.
Contact me for emails or phone numbers.
Thanks,
Leslie
OH, The Post Below with the Elf Yourself Dance....I can't take credit for that. Sister Rasmussen did that and I just thought it was too funny to NOT post! :)

YM/YW Holiday Service Project

It's that time of year again! The time to give!

The YW have asked that try and do signups via the internet...don't worry a paper signup will go around the ward, too. Please feel free to email me with your item(s) you'd like to donate.

The service works in the same way it did last year. Each food item you donate is allotted a certain amount of time. If you sign up for a turkey you'll be provided with 45 minutes of the service of your choice. Below is a list of items the YM/YW are collecting along with the service time provided.

Turkey - 45 Minutes
10LB Bag of Potatoes - 30 Minutes
(2) Small/(1) Large Box/Bag of Stuffing - 30 Minutes
Package of Rolls - 15 Minutes
2 Cans of Green Beans - 15 Minutes
2 Cans of Corn - 15 Minutes
2 Cans of Cranberry Sauce - 15 Minutes
Frozen Pumpkin Pie - 15 Minutes

The YM/YW will be providing service 11/22 in the morning. While serving at your home the youth will pick up your donation.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me or a leader in the YW. I believe 10 sets of every item will be collected in hopes to help 10 families. Once an item is covered I will update the list. Currently all items are needed.

Thanks so much!
